"Leaked" 2015 Mustang on Dec. cover of Car & Driver

I just recently saw the new Camaro and couldn't believe how ugly it was. Are the tail lights on the Camaro the same as on the new Corvette and the Malibu? If so, why would they do that?

On a general note, the new Camaro taillight argument is idiotic at best. The previous tail lights were a half assed and terrible attempt at early 70s tails. The new ones are at least a more mundane attempt at late 60s models. At least the reverse light is integrated.

I was behind a ZL1 at a light yesterday - we both took off at the green - I was shocked at how bad he *didn't* smoke me. It was an auto, so maybe that was part of it, but for being a 103k mile almost stock '03 GT with some 3.73s, I was pretty surprised. The car has a Cobra T56, JLT intake and canned tune. That's it. He definitely pulled away from me, but I expected more.

I don't mind the new Camaro tailights, they actually resemble the original models better than the quad lights. the rest of the rear end is butt ugly (no pun intended). People talked about the black plastic on the 10-12 but the Camaro takes the ugly award on that.

[QUOTE=DarrenGT;6720830]I actually like the new camaro/QUOTE]
I'm not totally sold on the new Camaro's looks, but I did consider the ZL1 while looking at Shelbys and Roush Stage 3's.
Those LS engines are KILLER! I had one in my Camaro that I traded in my RS3 for. Great engines and they respond very well to F/I.

Well I guess a large majority do mind those horrid, boring tail lights because you hardly see any 14 Camaro's on the road. They look like crap and Chevy took 10 steps back with them. GM had a home run going with Camaro and they just grounded into a triple play with those tool bag looking taillights. They look worse than the 2002 taillights on the Camaro and I didn't think that could ever be possible.
