How long before Ford tweaks the 2015 design?
Not sure what if any difference the .2 added in displacement would really make. But the flat plane crank trickles down to a redesigned DI 5.0 I would be one very happy and very broke camper

On the other hand, I'm not really worried at all.. As I intend to keep my current Stang indefinitely anyhow and when the time comes, I'll either re-build my 4.6L or somehow find a V8 crate engine somewhere, as I'm sure the aftermarket isn't going to die off anytime soon
With regards the V8, I certainly hope there will always be a V8 option for Mustang. Even if this means its not the "stock" GT engine. Perhaps the GT could go standard ecoboost 3.5 six and have a 4.0 ecoboost eight as an option. The latest 4 litre turbo V8s from Mercedes, Audi and Bentley, for example, make around 500hp & 500lb/ft. One of those in the rendering below, would do me for the '20MY
Out of interest, what do you chaps think of this red rendering? It was actually one of the official sketches for S550. It'd be interesting to see if any of it is seen at the first refresh. Me? I love it!
