Lightbulb GT vs GT Premium

Trying to justify the 4k difference in price. Wheels, Stereo upgrade, leather. Is that about it ? I'm ordering the PP anyway so the wheels won't matter. I'm wondering how big the difference is in the radio (hope it's WAY better than my 13 premium)? Am I missing anything (maybe some sort of interior trim) ? Thanks ! Scott

I have a 15 premium and I know this much, the stereo has the same sound as the 13 but it's a touch screen. You also get the toggle switches which change the steering wheel feel plus throttle response.

The leather, the heated/cooled seats, the rear bumper (which is a three-piece with a diffuser, all one piece on the base GT), the selectable drive modes, the same color changing interior LEDs as your 2013 premium, , the projection horse thing from the mirrors (and I believe the mirror-mounted turn signals), the backlit door sill, aluminum pedals... and some other things I'm forgetting I imagine.

The GT and the GT premium both have selectable Steering Assist, but only the premium has selectable Drive Modes, by way of toggle switches. In addition to leather trimmed seats, the Premium also provides Heated and Cooled front seats, Automatic Climate Control, 9 speaker stereo with applifier, Sync with MyFord Touch, Aluminum foot pedals, Ambient lighting, premium door trim, heated side view mirrors, and a few other items. Check out FordVehicles.com to make a comparison. Is the Premium worth the $4000 additional? I am still trying to figure it out myself.

Honestly, for me it was the back bumper difference and the leather that made me go up to the Premium for my order. The rest is just gravy.

I looked @ a V6 today with cloth seats, just peaked through the window. The seats looked pretty good, kind of a nylon weave type seat, nothing like the old school kind of cloth. Scott

It should tell you those were cars that the dealer ordered loaded up for maximum profit.

I'd say you would NOT regret getting the premium. For another 4k, I think you'd easily find it all worth it.
I don't know the small detail differences on the 2015's but from my previous '12 GT (Base) to the premium, there were many little things! Door pulls, steering wheel, guages, lights, rear view mirror... the little things that add up to a more enjoyable experience.
Go for premium!

I'm with you. I had a base V6 and now I have a 13 premium V6 with nav. The premium has a way nicer feel to it. Just seems way more luxurious. The leather, track apps, sync, finishes, just all around a lot better. The bases just look a lot cheaper. I haven't seen the 15s though. This is just in the last gen
