GT PP & convertible for 2015

Does anyone know why you can't get the GT PP option on the convertible? Are there physical/design limitations or is Ford just not offering it for the 2015? I've ordered my GT convertible and my dealer didn't think there'd be any way to force the GT PP on it. I'd really like to get the PP.

I suspect is has to do with the additional bracing perhaps not being compatible with the different structural supports needed for convertibles, but I'm speculating here.

I bet its more a marketing thing than anything else. The Ecoboost offers the Performance Pack on the convertible. You can even get it with the auto tranny on the convertible.

I have a '13 Convertible and they didn't offer it then either... I was able to get the Brembo brake upgrade package, but not the full PP... I don't think there is any physical limitations, just Ford not figuring us 'Vert guys want performance too... I am sure if people are serious about the performance, they would just go with the coupe (and I am also sure there would not be enough sales to justify adding it to the Convertibles).
