That I dont know, as in my other post my sister saw the thing sitting there in late 2004 - she had just gotten a lot of money from an insurance settlement from her husbands death. I got the car several months later when she decided she didnt want to make the payments any longer. Those were the same rims that were on it the day I took her to pick it up. They werent added on later either as I know she did nothing too it, and I got it with 4k on the odometer.

The only things I can think of is they got the wrong caps at the factory or someone at the dealership wanted the logo ones and switched them.

Ya know, I think the 05s might have had tribars. Maybe they switched to ford caps in 06-07?

Patrick ! My first S-197 was a 2005 Torch Red GT premium edition, it was factory ordered on October 23rd of 2004 and delivered on February 15th of 2005..

If you go to my avatar ? you'll notice that I have 19 images.. Click on my images and then on the second row will be pictures of my 05 GT..

Take a look at my wheels and you'll see the Ford logo on the wheel caps..

I've seen the Ford emblem on the windshield, I like it there.. It reminds me of the Ford decals I had on my quarter windows on my 89 Mustang LX 5.0. I had it done like the Saleen with the Ford rounded and the Motorsport decal underneath

My 2005 Mustang GT Premium Convertible with Premium Aluminum wheels had Ford caps that I eventually replaced with Pony Caps. I think the pony caps I bought were a 2006 or 2007 part number.

Yeah they started putting the tribars on those wheels in the later years too.
