Nice to hear from the horse's mouth! Unfortunately, barring any major leaks, it'll probably be another year or two before we see anything substantial.

ill be over 50 by then..i thought the rule was we buy corvette convertible's at that age ;-)

might be time to find a used s197 to wait it out....

With the next generation M3 going back to a I6 with 2 or 3 turbos means I will most likely be back in the Mustang world. Ford really could be the last builder of high revving normally aspirated V8's.

I can, gives me time to put away another big down payment. I honestly think a fully loaded GT coupe will easily cross the 45k mark (hope I'm really wrong on that though).

I've never been a fan of "fully loaded". I've always been more of a "if it isn't making it go faster, get rid of it" school of thought. Whenever I go to the configurator, almost always my only options are spoiler delete, 3:73s and Brembo package. Although if it didn't come standard I would get electric windows, lol. I think if I could get leather as a serperate option, I would get that as well, but if it is, I can't find it. My 07 has that option, so I know you used to be able to get it.
