I too have seen the new mustang (5.0 Version) in person this past Sunday. I love the front end, side and interior. just a sharp looking car all around. I was actually surprised about the back side of the new mustang. I wasn't crazy about it. If i didn't end up ordering the S197, i would still have definitely ordered the '15 mustang.

I also got to see one up close... I really like the new style mustang. I'm not overly thrilled with the back end of the car but ... it looks like they are going back to the older looking style..

nice car all around! I know i'd love it if I decided to get it over the S197 style.

True yet, they still look proportionate to the car.

Thanks Boomer. I installed super bright LED lights in them, and planning on a third brake light LED strip just under the weatherstrip inside.

I just cant get over 47-48k for a Mustang GT.
In 2001 I test drove a brand new Bullit that had a sticker of 26k
in 2013 I bought a GT at 36k

My 2015 order came in just under $36K. I didn't get the full blown optioned out car, but I did get the manual trans, 400A package, spare tire and 3:55 gear.
That was with the X plan pricing.
But there was no way I was going to get the performance package if I couldn't get a spare tire. Sorry, I'm not going to be at the mercy of a tow truck.

With the X-Plan, mine came in just over $41K, almost fully-loaded. Didn't want the PP, but got the 50th package and auto, adaptive cruise control, spare tire, 3.55 gears, voice-activated NAV, 401A, etc...

I wanted the manual, but due to pain shooting down my left leg at times, the last thing I needed to do was aggravate it. But the paddle-shifters make it all better.

As I read the owner's manual and other PDFs, every day I learn about something else cool-as-hell about this car.

Are you as excited as I am??

At $60,000 it better be nasty and have great options that fail like all the other Chrysler electronics do!
Buy a GT in your favorite flavor, slap on a blower from FRPP for under/around $8K and have your 700HP with some change in your pocket.

I got the Track Pack on my 2014 and ordered a spare from the parts counter. I'd need to swap a wheel to the front if I have a flat, but at least I can do that myself...

"2015 Wimbledon White LE Mustang" is the car that will be displayed.

Wimbledon White was used on Fords and Mercs from at least '64 to the mid-70's. A good majority of the Mustang magazine ads and posters from 64/65/66 always seemed to feature a convertible in Wimbledon White with a red interior. I'm guessing that's why Ford brought it back for the Anniversary LE.

Personally, it's my favorite color on any Mustang. If it was available on an S197, or more specifically a 2014 like mine, I would have jumped through hoops to find it. The Oxford and Performance Whites are nice, a bit too appliance-looking maybe, but WW is just sooo classic, especially on the original Shelbys. It was the only color available on the '65 GT350 and could be had with or without Guardsman Blue stripes.

I had a Dodge Magnum as a company car several years back, and the only color that appealed to me was Vanilla White which was in the same family as WW.
