Finally, I got to see one up close.

Myrtle Beach Mustang Week. FRPP had my color on display. DIB. I got to take a look at the rear spoiler I deleted. Glad I did too. It's a plastic, 3/8" thick hollow sounding booger stuck to an otherwise sexy back end. This one also had the 50th trim package. Sorry, don't like the traditional corral on the grill. I like the embossed seats and wheels but would give those up for the standard grill.

I agree that the grille trim has to go. The wheels are really nice. Are they 19's?....if so, hmmmmm.

Didn't realize that the bumper connected to the fender so abruptly and at an angle. I keep looking at that line on the design of the body....That would drive me nuts. Thanks for posting the pic tho!

hmm, not so bad in DIB, but yes lose that grill accent. Otherwise it's ok.

I agree. I would think it would have looked better if they had that seam come off the point of the headlight.

Really sexy car except for that hideous grill. What are they thinking?? Is this a V6?

I was reserving judgement until seeing one in person, was also at Mustang Week. Car looks huge in person, long front, super wide in rear.

Glad someone doesn't think I'm crazy. That's just such a strange place to break the bumper considering our eyes are directed to the point of that headlight. Reminds of the 2000 era Cougar.

Is that a Hooters sign in the windshield reflection?

Now that you've seen it in person.. Does it visually look just as huge as the current 13-14 S-197 or smaller ?

Sorry, had to be said.
We'll see what Roush, Shelby and SVT can do for us.

To me it's plenty aggressive in person.
More so than the 13-14.

It doesn't photograph well.
Not quite unlike the 13-14 front end.
Not as aggressive in pics as it is in person.

No worries it has been said like 50 times, and I'm sure it will be said another 50! And then I'm gonna keep saying I really like the front end!

They were thinking "it's the 50th anniversary so it should have styling cues from the original 50 years ago". I think it looks great, and classic.

To me, looks longer and wider than 13-14. Might need a front view camera to avoid hitting concrete parking stops. And yes that is a Hooter's sign in the reflection!

100%. I will be keeping my 14. Not a fan of the Euro front end, but do like the photos of the back. Still would like to see it in person. Could change everything, but I doubt it.

yes it is...been there before during mustang week....2008. right along 17 i believe...

wanted to go down this year but i had 2 choices:
1. go to mustang week and not pay off 2 loans...
2. stay home and pay off 2 loans for a new mustang!

i picked #2

one loan paid off! one more to go....only a couple months left..
