I find I strange that you can't order stripes on ford.com build your own Mustang. Scott

 

You find it strange. Does anyone read the marketing material. Ford made the Mustang more attractive for over seas consumption Not US. They do not like Stripes over there..

This new Fustang is all about over seas not here. I know I just started a Fire. LOL

 

Let the stripes begin, they'll sell a hell of a lot more Stangs here in the US !! Scott

 

Actually, most Mustangs that make it overseas end up getting stripes by their owners, because that's what the rest of the world thinks looks more "USDM." Look at Paul's car and the pics he posts of owner's cars over there in the UK. Paul's car is gorgeous, but just saying...

 

Shoot my now I guess but I sort of like the clean body look on this years car. If I want stripes I'll put them on after market.

 

If thay did offer stripes that would stop at the hood and trunk and you would have to redo them ar finish the job. There will be plinty of aftermarket options out there.

 

I'm thinking of getting them painted. Want Mag grey Metallic with a darker shade of grey for the stripes.. Going all the way down front and rear.. But I will probably get a stripe kit first and put that on to see how I like it. I'm hoping they will have a kit in the color I'm looking for that goes down the bumpers..

 

The stripes continued on the Shelby, they should offer the same type on the new car. I'm not saying all Mustangs need stripes I'd just like to have the option !! Scott

 

I am shure your dealer will install any stripes you wan't even paint them on if you wish. At least all the ones around here will.

 

I'm sure the next model year ('16) ford will add factory stripes.
