I cant figure out what this is for? Anyone got a idea?

 

Are you talking about hill climb assist? Is your car a manual?

 

Its a manual, but that option is there as well,but it says auto engine off on ,doesent do anything and cant find anything about it in the manual

 

It probably automatically turns the engine off when you leave the vehicle with the key in hand. Otherwise it might stay running until you push the stop button.

 

I found it in the manual a while back. If you leave the car idling for 30 minutes it will shut the engine off.
It warns you before it does it so if you are sitting there waiting and want it to keep running you just have to hit OK on the steering wheel and it will keep running. I think it's to deal with the possibility that you might leave the car while it's running, not notice the car honk at you and walk away.
