Remember all of the traffic about the GT350 say that it would have a flat plane crank but whatever that was in the SVT video was not a flat plane crank and sounds just like the current GT500. Part rumor, part wish and part dream is what I am talking about. They can call it what ever they want as long as it has the 5.8 supercharged trinity motor in it and I will buy it. Offer it only in pink and call it the SVT "My little pony" package and I will buy it with all the goodies and the 662hp trinity engine!
Better run out and buy a 2014 then!

The 2014 will be outdated and archaic compared to the 2015. Why would I even consider that?

I think he's implying that there won't be a GT500 or won't be one with the trinity engine. I'm with you in that I think there will. And that's nothing but pure conjecture on my part though...

My opinion, but I think 2014 was Trinity's last ride. Back to topic, inside is gonna look great! Paddle shifters!

The back will be even more uncomfortable then it already is. At least you can lay straight across in the back and it is pretty comfy in the back , but with the 2 new pronounced seats, laying across will be pain in the ***.

That's right, I forgot, the S197 cars are such turds.

If you want a 5.8, buy now. Just because it has 662hp, doesn't mean it'll go up from there. Just because some sketchy auto rag claims it'll lose 400 lbs., doesn't mean it will...

Is it just me or does that shifter look horrible!! I really like the improvements everywhere else though . . . hope the door handle isn't the same crappy painted chrome plastic handle like in the new Escapes. My wifes escape has that trim everywhere and it doesn't wear very well.

I highly doubt that's the real shifter nor is the interior trim production quality either. Material wise I would guess it'll be similar to a Fusion, which is actually quite good imo. Love seeing real buttons and toggle switches, I really miss those in my Fusion. At first I loved the clean button-less look but it gets old really quick. Definite form over function design.

The car is designed to be functional, not production intent. There are a lot of finishes and small components that will likely change once we see the final form. Don't freak out just yet.

Exactly. I don't get why people see a leaked spy shot of a car that hasn't entered production yet and just write it off as thats what we're getting.

DDDAAANNNGGG! That is a singularly good looking interior. Obviously not production quality, but I love the redundant, buttons, ***** frickin' toggles. If the exterior and mechanicals are as sharp as the interior appears it will be...... freakin awesome car.

Clearly there will be some glitches and clearly some people will declare it crud because of this, but ultimately it looks like a car I would be proud to trade in my 2011 for.

The layout is pretty cool.

Almost fighter jet like control, yet simple and easy without being overly complicated or messy.
Now wrap that in some satin trim etc... and you have a pretty functional and *****in' looking interior.

Can't believe the complaints about the fit/finish from some people. Have you seen the OUTSIDE of the current prototypes? These cars are far from their final fit and finish.

Agreed. While not a huge departure from the basic layout of the S197, the devil's in the details. The car spotted has quite a bit of tech in it too; BLIS, adaptive cruise, heated/cooled seats, push button start, MFT, etc., so it's a good idea of what to expect. What we dont' see in the cluster and upper portion of the dash leave a lot to the imagination.

I think its funny they put some sort of tape over the mustang emblem, almost like we have NO idea what the car is.

This is not a production final model. Surfaces, textures, and finishes may not be the same!

No need to freak out about cheap looking interior bits when they are not going to be final!

Looks like it could possibly have three round air vents above the center stack as you can kind of make out the left and center indentations peaking out of the cover. Seems like a reasonable differentiation change from the last two s197 interiors.
