The tail lights look like crap. I don't want 60s tail lights on a 2014 car. The front is the best part of the whole car the overall size and shape aren't bad sure looks smaller and lighter.

Agreed. I believe there's a lot to like in the Aston-inspired (borderline copied) front end. While having my oil changed at a local Ford dealership, I spent about 40 minutes today poring over two 2013 Fusions and they are absolutely beautiful cars, in my opinion. The front end is elegant, yet aggressive. While I'm not asking for that exact nose to find its way unchanged onto the 2015 Mustang, I think, again, with the right tweaks, it'll undoubtedly look badass -- aggressive yet elegant (notice I emphasized aggressive first in describing the S550, elegant second).

If it retains the Shark nose I could see a fusion/EVOS front end working....

I absolutely hate that all headlamps wrap around the sides. They may as well go the way of NASCAR's Car of Tomorrow and just slap stickers on cars to make gthem look different.

NOT having the wrap around headlamps is one of the things I really love about the current pony cars. I know it has to move forward but it doesn't have to look like every other coupe made today. But it does have to be uniquely Mustang!

The folks who apparently attended the customer clinic said the next-generation Mustang's headlights are small, little "slats," but has anyone confirmed they will, in fact, wrap around the sides of the car?

Actually I like the car except the front end. If that's a GT then where the two lamps in the grill?
It looks like the rear axle has been moved back a few inches.

Really? This is a rendering...........wait for the real spyshots before worrying about proportions

As for the foglights in the grille. The Foxes didn't have them, and neither did the SN95s.........

Stuck in Corpus Christi Texas at the in-laws. Not by choice certainly. I don't think they realize or care that I've been waiting a year for this.

They are so self absorbed. I just want to leave and get my Mustang. I don't care about all this hoopla. (see what I did there?)

Is that Gary i hear there complaining about the in-laws. Gezzzz, i just hope they aren't reading this forum !!!! My in-laws are
500 miles away, so i don't get to see them often, which in itself is a good thing. Downside is that they get to stay a few days when in town. Oh well.

first post!!

hi,guys, been checking out this site for years and thought i would join in the community!as the excitement builds for the 15,i would like to express my taste lol!although,i am a retro guy at heart being 50 years old ouch.i know ford is completely changing direction.my take on the carscoop render.i like the fusion, astony front.would get rid of all the ridges in the hood and make it more mustang like.make the greenhouse more fastback and i would like the rear of the car & driver render.as i have no design skills,i do not know if this mish mash would look ok?hello, photoshop guys lol!feel free to flame lol!

I love my 05 gt model but am excited to see what ford pulls together. They have done a great job with their entire line up over the years and I think they will have a great car on their hands when they release the new stang. And while I have no plans on getting rid of mine, I will definitely be interested in test driving the turbo 4 to see what it's got because its sounds pretty sweet. The new gt I'm sure will be amazing but for me I want to see what they do with the four banger

That rendering shows potential...you know it's not accurate, but probably has SOME idea of what the real thing could be like. Ford isn't going to screw up something this important.
