Bottom line is this car does look marketable beyond 50 year old gray hair dudes like me living in the U.S. It will outsell the current version and will give folks in other countries a chance to own a Mustang. I realize that it will be better on the track than my Boss but I fully expected that was going to happen sooner rather than later.
No way 2015 model will outsell the current version here in US. European sales , that may be a different story but not in US. Its way too similar too the current model and large majority will not take a loss to own a similar version. Time will tell. I say poor job and shame on Ford and their design team to only create a faster and better handling next generation mustang. Where is the originality and completely new looking exterior design as did GM bring with the next generation Camaro.

Ford created a really nice looking, faster refresh 2014 model for 2015. Congrats Ford.

I dig it. I'll reserve full judgement until I see it in the flesh Thursday morning. I'm interested to see other variations and more interior pics.

If the performance of the GT matches/exceeds that of the 12/13 Boss, I'm sold.

Lol. I have a feeling the naysayers and gloomer doomers are pleased with their current models and eating duck. Lol.

I, for one like the 2015 pictures because it looks like our current model and therefore no need to sell mine and get another that looks like it. Ford has saved me thousands of dollars buy giving us a 2014 refresh design. Thx Ford

And I'll be eating duck right along with you, as I'm totally pleased with my current 2006 GT

I'm surprised you feel this way. I think the car looks very different. Personally I'd like to see it side by side with the current car. To me it looks much smaller and more like a sports car and less like a muscle car. I'm looking forward to some high quality pics overall I like the look of the S197 better

Anyone who thinks they look the same needs their eyes checked.

It'll do...

Okay, for my two cents....It'll do. I do like it. However, I am glad I got my 2014 GT this Summer. Granted, 200lbs lighter is awesome. I hope that's not using the 2.3L Turbo as the example. I hope the V8 version is under 3500lbs. We'll see.

As far as the looks. It's good. I like it, but I ain't drooling like I hoped I would. I love my 2014 GT (and my 2008 GT), and I'll hold on to her for a while. I am sure, however, the S550 will have better track numbers across the board, hands down to the S197...as it should, of course. That may just get me to trade in my '14 in a year or two. Definitely not the looks!

Your so right bro. My mistake. The 2015 looks nothing like the current model. I must of been confused. There the complete opposites of each other from the front.

I'm liking it very much. It's more than likely a base model. Thinking on the GT the lower rear facia will be colored black. That's my guess anyways.

Man, look at how close these next generation models looked alike. Almost identical. Wow! Maybe a hair bit sarcastic I be! AutoWeek Cover.....and article!-image-3517127518.jpg AutoWeek Cover.....and article!-image-1924463181.jpg AutoWeek Cover.....and article!-image-965101393.jpg

I swear I'm going to walk past Sound Ford sometime next year and see someone from here screaming "It's clearly a fake!" while pointing at a Mustang sitting on the lot.
