Congrats to Ford on the very nice refresh of the new 2014 model. Looks very nice just like my current stang. Not that different from the current front with some new head lights. Nothing at all what I had expected the next generation stang to look like but its all good because I love my 11 retro. Nothing original on the design Ford came up with being that it looks similar to the past 5 years of mustangs. So much for being a completely different all new style. With that said, I like it. Certainly I wouldn't sell my similar looking mustang to purchase the next generation but its nice.

I'll wait for the Ford release to make a judgement and I definitely want to sit in one to see the interior in person. Hoping for Recaros and track pack. Overall I like what I am seeing. The front end kinda reminds me of the Infiniti G37 coupe, which isn't a bad thing but I think the aftermarket will be able to help us out.
I like that there is no rear spoiler.
GT will add front splitter and 5.0 badging. Hood vents as well, but I hope not. The hood looks clean.
Can't wait to see wheel options and exterior colors.

Take a good look at the rear and you'll notice it has more of a fastback profile similar to the 1st gen 65-66 Mustangs, especially when looking at the shape of the rear glass, b-pillar and deck lid

Oh wow, I hadn't seen that angle. Love the roof line but I had no idea the taillight panel had such an angle to it. Not sure I like that. I do wish they had tucked that lower bulge under the car another inch or so.

I wish the tail light/blackout panel area was more vertical like the 05+ Mustang. I son't care for the angled look of the tail lights. That is the only major thing I don't like. Other than that Ford did a great job.

Jalopnik said the GT will have a PP and that it was faster then the '12 Boss 302. So Ford did the same thing they did with the '10 stang. Took 09 Bullitt cues to make the '10 just as good. I am hoping for a 7.5k redline if not higher. M3 V8 has a 8k reline (nudge nudge Ford)
I wonder if the exhaust sounds the same?

I think the photo of a photo looks like a photo who was trying to be an original photo but its not. I think it looks better than other generation stangs but same/similar to the current models. Huge disappointment in Fords creativity to come up with nothing more than a faster mustang that looks the same as current model.

I wish the Car and Driver renders were more accurate. Their rear end was so much more cohesive, and the front end was rounder. Oh well. Still looks good.

As a Mustang fan of all generations, an owner of an 86 GT and a 12 Boss, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, a Ford shareholder, I say well done Dave Pericak and team.
Bottom line is this car does look marketable beyond 50 year old gray hair dudes like me living in the U.S. It will outsell the current version and will give folks in other countries a chance to own a Mustang. I realize that it will be better on the track than my Boss but I fully expected that was going to happen sooner rather than later.
