Like the didn't make it obvious enough? If someone's blatant attempt at sarcasm gets you all up in a tizzy, I recommend not looking at this forum anymore as it's full of people being bullies behind their keyboard.

No, actually it didn't, and it didn't get me all up in a tizzy. I made what I considered was a non-passionate response. But thank you for your recommendation anyway.

Here is what I am wondering. If Ford goes to all the trouble and $ to develop the 2.3 turbo what else is it going in? I cant think of a single car or truck right now. It makes no sense. Now, if the next F150 is dropping serious weight then it may possibly be a base engine? I am reaching here I know.

The other question is where is the Nano 2.7V6 Turbo at? That would seem to me to b e a better base engine that could share the F series base engine. Too many questions and not enough answers.

They could use a 2.3EB in a Fusion ST or Sport model. If the next generation Edge - which I think is due for the 2015 model year - loses 200-300 pounds like it's supposed to, a 2.3EB could replace the 3.5 V6. Same for the next-gen Taurus.

The engine will be shared with the next-gen RS Focus........

Now if they could do a 3.7 Ecoboost to fall in between the 2.3 EB and the 5.0

I can see the EB 2.3 being in a Ranger if it makes a comeback by then as well, which I have heard is a possibility.

Sharp, my nephew is getting near the age for a driver's license and I've been thinking about snagging a S-197 V6 for him with some suspension, brake, tire and sound (of the engine variety.) upgrades.

If I may, who did the bumper cap?

I'd welcome a ecoboost V6. Time for Ford to pull more power out of the V6 for the Mustang.

It looks like Street Scene's "Gen 1" front fascia to me.

That's exciting news. Who cares if its a 6 or 4 if its laying down that kinda power? Onlookers aren't paying your fuel bill.

People who knock the current v6 generation most likely haven't experienced them. Thus, they should go power up their huge dryer sized IBM computers while the rest of the crowd continues to dote these ultra thin little MacBook thingys.

Coffee anyone?
