I'd say the Ford guy is safe, nothing in those photos should worry his bosses. The EcoSport, Fiesta, and Fusion are all out or soon to be out. The black Mustang mule isn't giving anything away from the outside that the other mules we've seen weren't. Now the mystery car with the fastback and low hood....might have gotten him in some trouble depending on how good their camo is

Hopefully there weren't there just for the day............so keep an eye out for them and make sure you get that fastback mule

 

I don't understand why the Fusion is under camo, they are already out on the streets.

And why does every Mustang Mule we've seen have padding over the gas cap only?

 

 

I guess they would not bother to take the camo-wrap off the Fusion........it's probably an old mule from before the launch of the production car.

It's also got some weird (and ugly) side mirrors!

 

It probably has something to do with the alternate fuel switches under the rear bumper.

 

Maybe they're testing a Fusion SHO

The funny thing is, I saw the covered car and thought, its about the right shape for a Mustang. But kept on walking to look at the other mules. And right after taking the couple pics I did, is when I was asked to stop. I didnt even give the covered car a thought until I was eating lunch. And by then it was too late...

 

The other thing I noticed about the Mustang Mules was that they all had the Shelby nose on them. Not the GT one we've been seeing online.

Those switches under the bumpers look like quick disconnects. Like what you would use for propane or CNG.

 

The small crossover is a Ford Ecosport.

Remember Ford's Codename Bobcat dual-fuel engine? Could be they're using that mule to test a duel-fuel concept for "EcoBoost2."
