I didn't see the pic - my bad. Didn't realize you meant "old" Fusion front end.

Lengthen the hood by about a foot, and...Hmmm, could it be?

More shots of the evos concept front end. Very sexy but different from the mustang one...

New fusion front end is a bit closer to the new mustang, with the larger bottom grill

Yellow EVOS you mean! I always suspected that the EVOS was a quasi-S550 concept hidden right under our noses. I suspect the production S550 will look very similar, with some proportion and detail changes and tweaks.

Yes sir. The Evos. It looked sweet in yellow but this one rendition has me ready to trade my 11 for it. Lol

Lol. I do like the look of the Camaro but test drove it back in 2010. Well, you know the ending to this story. 2011 Kona blue mustang. Love Ford quality and how the mustang performs and the nice classy interior. Lol.

back in 2010 I drove the chally, mustang, charger, Camaro and a few others. The Camaro was the worst of the bunch.

Not to offended you, but I hate this thing. This and the one with the GTR front end are as far from Mustang as I can imagine. Worse, they step backwards into a well worn path rather than forward into the future. The Mustang I'm driving now is a great step forward in every aspect from my '65. Now it needs to step forward again. The 71 to '05 Models, while great cars to some simply are horrid takes on what makes a Mustang an iconic car. The only thing they truly added was a lineage of uninterrupted production.

Well it still maintained its popularity and remained a dominant force in the coupe world. Highly customizable, potential for each owner to make his/her Mustang completely their own. Individualism, and i believe thats one of the main characteristics of the mustang. Yes theres design, motors, size etc. but in the end of the day the Mustang can be individualized to meet its owners needs while not breaking the bank. Everymans pony car

The Evos looks tame compared to the front end shots we've seen recently. It set the course for the Kinetic 2.0 design language and the Fusion was one of the first to wear it. The S550 looks the part, and the shapes are a homage to older designs as well. As I've said elsewhere, if you don't like it, speak with your wallet and buy something else.

And hopefully Ford Racing and the aftermarket industry will continue to serve Mustang enthusiasts well into the future. Funnily enough, the original Mustangs were vastly customizable off the order books from a secretary's 6 to a fire-breathing two seat sports car. If anything, this personalization is a much Mustang DNA as any design feature.
