It's about **** time!
Nice pics, but too much camo as usual. Still I didn't expect to see a full prototype this soon.

So can all the "oh noes its going to be another Mustang II!" folks kindly looks at those pics and chill out? Long hood, short deck, muscular stance, twin pipes, hips, its looking good so far.
Definitely appears smaller than the S197. That or the camo is playing with the eyes. Can someone take a 2010 in camo and watermark it over top of this one and see how the proportions line up?
Girl on FB said she seen it and its pretty but not muscular. This is what she said as she rated the 4cly
Lol Denni! It looks like a European car... Sleek, clean lines. Just doesn't look like a muscle car. The back seat is roomier than my 2013 and the truck is still big. They added the i4 Ecoboost engine to the lineup (which is the one I was able to rate). Not sure how I feel about a 4cyl Mustang. Almost blasphemous lol. Not a fan of the tail lights... Quite ugly IMO.

My impressions:
- Perhaps a bit of a long-nose, pony-car-proportioned EVOS in general styling.
- A bit smaller than the current car, a bit more finely drawn details (A pillar for example).
- Four caliper front brakes -- impressive -- I wonder which model this is (GT at least?)
- IRS rear -- hello 20th century, errrr, 21st century.
- Seems to have a prominent "shark nose" given that you can just make out some of that swirly hypno-camo peeking out under the cover on the front, presumably covering actual sheet metal/plastic.
- Lower rear valance/bumper area seems a bit tighter and tauter, ditching the lumpy full-diaper look of the current car. Rear overhang seems a bit tighter too.
- Mirrors have a nice, modern angular look to them.
- Side "scallop" is a bit deeper vertically, with the lower edge being a bit lower than the current car.
- Nice wheels, are these off something else or unique to the '15?

A guess the sleeker, cleaner lines might harken back in spirit to the original Gen I Stang conceptually rather than some of the subsequent more muscled out versions. Fine with me though perhaps troubling for those who see the Mustang as more muscle car and less as a pony car.
Interesting about the roomy back seat given the spy shots looks a bit smaller than the current version, perhaps a side benefit of the better packaging allowed by the IRS. Big trunk is always a nice bonus.
I'm fine with an Egoboost four as a base motor as the EB 2.0 is a nice piece and perhaps if they go with an EB 2.3, that would only add more oomph, IF they can keep the NVH under control (big fours can get pretty raucus and thrashy much above 2.0 liters with balance shafts).

I did a little animated Gif. tried to line up mirrors and front of door.
Looks to me like the windshield is the same angle, but longer.
The side window is also longer, more angular in back, and shorter.

A friend of mine was at the S550 VP build last week and said, "it's much more euro/Aston Martin looking than the muscle car we known it to be."
