Agreed. And how about the one cut off by the roof line of the foreground S550? Looks Aston Martinish....but different!

 

I was thinking the same thing... if we could find out just what "company that has worked with ford on mustangs" these were taken at it might shed some light on exactly what that is in the background and why there was an S550 mule there.

As for the exotic car in the background, it was suggested elsewhere that it looks like the Shelby GR-1 concept car. To me it's close, but not quite.

Seriously though, you have to be pretty stupid to take a picture of a prototype and send it to the media, especially if there's not much new info there. Ford keeps a close eye on their test cars, and I'm sure whereever this was taken didn't take long to identify.

 

On the left it's an S197 and on the right it appears to be a Porsche. Possibly a C4S.

 

I was thinking Porsche myself for the one in the back.

Not an f-type. There is no fender vent on the car in the background.

It's definitely hard to tell, but my best guess is this:

Someone mentioned the camo coupe was an SS, but it is not.
