I shall put your curiosity to rest by explaining the similarities.

1) long slanted headlights

2) "catfish" styled grill

3) no bumper (I guess this doesnt really count but im just throwing that in)

 

My guesses on side profile lines...

Not that it matters, because that isn't an accurate rendering of the 2015 Mustang, but Other than the Similar Color Combo, the Only thing this Rendering has in Common with that Camaro is that it has 4 Wheels, 2 Doors, and 4 Seats. Someone needs to go see their Optometrist.

 

 

 

This would have been a great 2005. It looks like a evolution of the SN95.

i'm convinced the rear window line is similar to these...

 

Just saw this render, and other than the hood detail (scoop, no!) and the area between the front and rear wheels I'd say this is what I'm seeing between spy shots and my own up close exposure to the car, although I'd shorten the upturn to the trailing edge of the rear of the side window. I'd add that there is some kind of spear/turning light, perhaps mustang shaped, and back lit just behind the front wheel, finishing the top line of the "C" shape signature character line? And the the rear of the car is very rounded when viewed from above, so that the centre of the rear of the car is further back than the fender edges.

I said that the front end is similar... another car that its similar to it is the tesla model s and of course the fusion. it doesnt mean they look exactly the same.

Well they're likely not going to be happy to see how pretty much similar the new Mustang is to a 20 year old Camaro.

 

Munk, I see absolutely no similarity between that body style Camaro and that rendering of someone's idea of what the 2015 Mustang is going to look like, but Chevy should be scared sh:!less if it looked even remotely like this. However, I think it's going to look even better. Aston Martin is more what I see than 20 year old Camaro. Those cars were Hideous! Clearly sarcasm is wasted here Wolfsburg...

 

why do you keep mentioning the body stlye? i like the new body style, my only beef is the headlights and grill. i dont like the fact that it "might'' share the same front end as a fwd ''economy car'' that imo looks like a catfish
