2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread
Idk but im curious as well. Could that very well be the next mustang in TN's avatar? Or is it just somethin that got leaked on purpose to throw off the trail? TopNotch, got the background story??
Hey we havnt had anything new in a while so im just entertaining the imagination. It looks a lil different from the Evos though. I dont remember it looking so squat and ready to hunt its prey like that. But wether it is or isnt the next gen, its one mean lookin car
It is. Just a pony added to the grille and changed from yellow to red. Not a bad thing since I like the Evos... but just not what you're hoping it is.
If your referring to Topnotch's rendering ? How can you possibly think it looks anything like a Chevy Vega, as there is no resemblance between the two whatsoever.
For starters the Vega's greenhouse was a hatchback that didn't include a fastback profile nor had hips in it's quarter panels and second, it's quarter windows were shaped entirely different and finally, the Vega's A pillars are also taller as well..
IMHO Topnotch's rendering is the best one I've seen yet, as you clearly notice the Evo's influence and also quite a bit of Aston-Martin, but most of all when you look at the overall design and shape, it most definitely looks all Mustang !

I think Topnotch's is great except for the narrow pulled back headlights/surrounds. I feel this look has been way overdone and is on every car out there here days.
My main grievance is the squinty headlights. The rest of the front fascia isn't bad. I also like how svelte and muscular the rear quarters are. I've always felt the S197 was just too fat and chunky back there. This is one of the few renderings I've seen that, overall, I actually like (albeit with some tweaks here and there).

That was my fault, as I meant Topnotch's render.. But It seemed to me as though Munk was trying his best at doing a sketch of Topnotch's render but didn't quite turn out in the way he wanted..
I would absolutely rock that car. Very excited to see what the "actual" car looks like, but if it is similar to this, I think it will be a smashing success!
Most of these just look like a slight overhaul of the current model. I'm ready for something new. Gimme a 2-door Fusion on steroids. Gimme a GR1. Gimme a car that looks like the mad max concept. I don 't want the new car to look like a melted, slightly stretched version of what we have now.
Gimme something new!
Gimme something new!
Honestly i think the handling is going to be alot better than the current gen. Better weight balance, greatly reduced brake dive and squat, less body roll, IRS will make a big difference on bumpy roads, and im hoping tonsee a 10-15ho bump from the current 420hp. Also 400ftlb tourqe would be sweet too
Here is an attempt not to reveal the front or rear clip, or the side scoops, but to give a generic look at the silhouette and stance.
