If they made the 2015 a fastback version of the 2005-2014.... shut up and take my money Ford!!

I think they are going to knock it out of the park IMO. Ford's design team has been firing on all cylinders recently.

I would like to see more of what's on the screen in the background. Clearly a grill opening, headlight and front wheel arch there. Not saying it's anything Mustang related, maybe a sporty Fusion or something, but still aggressive looking.

It sounded good in my head.

What I was trying to say was the let few incarnation of the Mustang , including the SN95s, were not really Fastbacks nor were they true notch backs but some where in-between.

If that still make no sense I will just walk away from that one.

The last notch was with the foxes in the late 80's early 90's. The last fastback was since the 70's. its time for one of the two to come back

The one thing that looks similar, at least to my eye, is the grill opening. To me the spy shot appears to show 2 bars in the opening that angle the same direction as the fusion concept. I tried to highlight those areas for comparison.

Thanks for highlighting this. That sport sedan sketch has some aggressive features that may look great placed on Mustang proportions. I see what you're talking about and like it!

The sport sedan looks to me like a Fusion ST. Any takers?

SO. Topnotch. Would you like to post a larger photo of your avatar? Sure looks EXACTLY like the rendering you posted on the #3598 post.

The 2005-2014 Mustang is a modern interpretation of the 1st generation (65-66) 2+2 fastback, but it's body style is officially a coupe with a fastback profile..

But on the other hand, it's clearly not a true/full fastback when compared with the 1st generation 67-73 Mustangs !
