I Think C&D has it as close as anyone.

I think TN's fastback concept will make it to the final product or at least something very similar. The early profile sketch has a very sleek fastback and it ends with a very stylish tail light display and a possible integrated duck tail. C&D is probably pretty close with the fascia, it seems to be one of the favorites. The C&D concept doesn't have the fender flares the mule is sporting... The new Mustang has larger hips and shoulders.

GT has been touting the C7 a lot for the upcoming release. I'm guessing that's more the outline.

Idk the C7 rear is more like a fastback - very tall. The front also is flat from the windshield to mid front wheel where it slopes down. The GT car appears to slope down coming back towards the windshield

I'd be willing to bet that's some tuned version of the Toyota GT-86.

Finally these are finished, looks absolutely brutal! But i wouldnt count on the new gen to be as aggressive, rather it will (IMO) be sleek but carry a certain presence.

Well, for what it's worth, here's his rendering for the 2010 Camaro........this was published before the 5th Gen was launched, so either he had inside info or a 6th sense

That Camaro concept hood doesn't leave much room for an engine, does it?

Crap, did they chicken out? Sooooo disappointed.

Yeah, the people that have supposedly seen it allege that it essentially looks like a more streamlined version of the S197. Seems counter to the "totally redesigned" rumors we had heard initially. Aesthetically it sounds like it'll be more evolutionary than revolutionary.

I was hoping from day 1 to get a Mustang that basically carries the current design elements and morphs them into Aston Martin Vanquish type proportions. Big wide hips, carved in doors, pronounced ledge running across the side of the car at window height, sleeker and lower roofline. Still from everything I have seen and know, it "kind of" will be like that.

Take these proportions, and make it "mustang" and it would be the sexiest car ever made.
