2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread
First of all ! That wasn't where my head was at all. I was merely stating an opinion and that opinion was directed at the greenhouse portion of the Mustang rendering and Camaro.. I didn't mention anything about body panels, front end or anything else being similar whatsoever.. And since when is it ignorant for someone to post an opinion ? Now that is completely ridiculous

I just don't understand generalized ideas about coupes. This isn't really pointed at you because there are many others, not even here, that will say X looks like Y. The problem is when it's general, because then you can apply the same logic to any coupe almost.
I figure this day in age, the Mustang without a Dorito will look a lot like other coupes.
But you were referring to one aspect. I can understand your comparison. I hadn't before.
This is going Nowhere fast I am jumping off. As it has been said We can argue any car looks like another in some way.
Somebody told me they thought they saw a 4 door Mustang, turns out it was a new Charger. I have read on here that Mustang renderings look like Chargers when we all know where that design influence came from.
When it comes down to it for the most part, it does not matter who came UP with an Idea first but only who brought it to Market first and I mean in contemporary terms not going back 50 years. Camaro brought back hips before the 2010 was released. Even the FORD guys said, everybody going to say we stole this from Chevy even though this design was developed a year ago.
OK, I done with this.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against other muscle cars ie 70 RoadRunner, Cuda, Challenger, TA ect, but for myself personally, when I saw the 1st gen Mustangs for the first time in 65-66 I became so emotionally connected and that connection only grew even stronger and more intense as i got older and hasn't changed ever since..

Took me a bit to realize you were localizing your assessment to the green house. Your opinion is fine. I was assuming you had more of a blanket idea of the car.

At any rate, I'll make certain not to make the same mistakes in the future
Well you have my most sincere apology, and If I had been more specific in the beginning ? you wouldn't had misunderstood where I was coming from to begin with, but unfortunately I made the mistake by assuming that folks on here knew that I was referring to just the greenhouse portion and you just can't assume anything as none of us are mind readers..
At any rate, I'll make certain not to make the same mistakes in the future

Now about these renders.....

Same here Herbert ! As for the renderings are concerned ? I would like to see the next Mustang evolve from the current S-197, but as we're all fully aware Ford has confirmed time and time again they're moving forward and modern away from the retro design altogether.. Guess we're just going to have to wait until we see some real test mules before knowing what the upcoming S550 will begin to actually look like

I say keep the formula goin, give us "Yanks" somethin to drool over and mod for a few years while the euro kids get a taste of 'Murika
They'd best do better that that or the '15 Mustang might as well be spelled E-D-S-E-L...
You do know this is really old and based off the evos render? This chop was one of the first tossed up

Looks like I'll be holding onto my 05 GT anyhow, as I previously owned a black 93 SVT Cobra which I really enjoyed, but I always wanted a Mustang that reminded me of the 1st gen (65-70) models I grew up with since it's introduction.. So IMHO the current S-197 is as close as your going to get with the original 1st generation cars especially now that we know the direction Ford is going with the upcoming S550 !
