This is what's killing me. I wish Ford would start teasing some dark profile pictures or something. Honestly, I'm as curious about the back end as the front end. What those who have seen the car have said has me intrigued.

Edit: Looking at it again up close and I have to say that is very nice work down to the pixels. It's such a simple, attractive design. Not what I want as a Mustang but you find another moniker to slap on there and I'm sold on a super coupe (80s TBird, new Falcon). I would like one of these for my wife... Maybe a new Mav

Awesome looking car. I agree with pill on the rebadging. That follows the new Ford design direction completely, and would be an awesome car to see a production model of. I would love to see this badged a Maverick too!!! That would be sick.

As far as the Pinto, I think people would be afraid of that name. Lol

 

Thanks guys! Yeah I wanted the hood and trunk areas longer/more muscular looking. It's just not mustang enough right now. If anyone wants to play around with it, I don't mind.

I see Audi/Giugiaro Mustang there.
Not Mustangy/Muscular enough...but got some nice lines.

 

I think it's really busy on the front end.

 

I also do not know why a lot of the renderings I see have the Ford logo when I have not seen a Ford logo on a Mustang since the New Edge.

 

That doesn't mean it cant come back, especially sine ford is taking it a slightly different direction. I'm not sure if it even is a mustang concept. Technically it's a custom fusion, evos, buick, and sn197 mutt

 

I also see quite a bit of Scion as well.. Definitely not Mustang, but does have nice lines though lol.

 

I love the simplistic flow the car has from front to rear. I would LOVE to see a sports compact called Maverick based on a shortened S550.

 

Definitely better.

 

I just hope that Ford will keep the round headlamps - otherwise it will just look like any other car.
