I wasn't sure if anyone had posted the 2nd photo of the orange concept. It was done by a group called Navona Design Group. This picture in particular has Nicolas Stone's name on it.

To be honest, I think the next gen., probably 2015, will be something smaller and close to this.

Whilst that rendering's proportions make it look like it has a big booty, the tail end is quite nice. I think/hope the 2014 will have a rear side window treatment like the '69/'70 though

I don't think Ford will get rid of the back quarter windows, if they stay with the fastback body. I think it's a safety consideration these days.

I like pretty much everything about that rendering except the lines of the side scoop and the integrated exhuast tips. Keep that for the luxury sedans. I like the raw look of the exhaust pipes protruding out back. It's a muscle car staple.

Personally, I'd also like to see more of a deviation from the current design. This just seems like a the same car with the lines sharpened up. Almost looks like the "new edge" styling of 10 years ago (ie Cougar, Ka, Focus etc) with the sharp edges mixed with sweeping lines. I can't help thinking it looks a little out dated because of this.

Eeeeewww no, sorry TN

That looks more like some of the rendering/concepts of the Acura that never happened (and with good reason!)

Oh, yeah. Aston's designs are excellent sources from which to gain inspiration! Might this be the 2014-15 Mustang concept?

Agreed Marz, and we both know TN has a nack for finding/getting his hands on stuff before other people....

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a lot more to that sketch than we realize. Personally, I'm not crazy about the enormous tail lights...
