2015 Mustang Safety data is just now released, and it received a 5 Star Safety Rating overall (and 5 stars in all 3 tests: Frontal, Side and Rollover):

Mostly true, but a 5-Star across the board should help insurance rates.

Just browsing through the full list, most are 4 or 5 stars, but suprisingly there are cars that are still 3 stars (e.g. Versa seemed to be 3/4 star, a 2011 versa was only a 2 star!)

 

Be nice if my rate went down.

 

Compared to my 2012 Focus that I am trading in, my rates will only go up $164 a year, so I was happy hearing that. If this drops the rates more, I will be really happy.

 

Agreed - if it makes them go down even a little I'll be thrilled.

 

I was surprised to see the Challenger didn't do so well on frontal impact. Glad to see my new 2015 will be a safe place to ride around in.
