I love the Bullitt and it's heratige/tradition, but It's been done to death!! I'm ready for Ford to do something else............PLEASE bring back the MACH I :D

Hot dang, make it a 2014 and throw some Mach 1 graphics on there and that is exactly what I'm looking for. Make mine an A6.

We know the GT500 is going to be a part of the next generation Mustang now, so the question I would guess is what will replace the Boss. I know Ford is going to have a hard time selling the '14 Mustangs with all of the attention on '15 MY cars, so they may very well come out with a one-off for '14 that helps to promote sales. Who knows.

But that's just me.
Ford has said before, the Dark Highland Green and colors close to it won't be on a Mustang unless it's a Bullitt. I'm fine with that. I do think the color is very tasteful, but they won't get close to the heritage that is the Bullitt car.

That's cool. My dream Mach 1 does though. :D How about 2 the way you decked yours out, M6 for you, A6 for me? I'd also go for a nice shade of orange as well, Mach 1 graphics included. :)

just attended the 2012 NYCIAS, lots of media, i overheard the MY '15 will have aluminum body & frame. anybody else hear something along these lines?

i agree, but due to future govt fuel regulations/requirements tightening up, this transition may go along the lines in helping meet mpg numbers.

My biggest fear of aluminum body panels is the insurance costs along with repairs on top of msrp price when it is released

Hey thanks. I fiddled around on the site trying to make one in orange and could never get the color right. Make those window louvers black and I'm in business. :D

I will admit Chevy does an outstanding job with the Corvette build. Hydro-formed aluminum frame, aluminum and fiberglass panels, etc etc etc. Of course the Ford GT architecture was amazing as well. It would be nice to see Ford incorporate higher grade materials into the next-gen mustang but of course cost will always be a factor. But if meeting VERY strict European and soon to be tight US emissions laws means upping the cost while decreasing weight then they have to do whatever is necessary. With that being said.... The price has to be reasonable or else the company may lose a huge chunk of buyers and fans

This is what I'm thinking 2014 Mach 1. 450hp, 420tq, 7000rpm redline, 0-60 4.0, 1/4mile 12.4. Special Mach 1 gauges and interior upgrades.

Now from AM... Supercharger lol
