What's the 2014 special edition going to be?
 

I know they just released the 2013s, but does anyone have any rumors/conjecture about a 2014 SE to send off the body style? Unless I am mistaken, they have always said the Boss would be a 2 year thing, so I would assume something different for 2014...

I am kind of hoping for a Mach 1 with all the Boss performance equipment they have already developed but with a premium-level interior, some new wheels, and maybe a functional shaker intake, though I'm not sure how the shaker would work aesthetically with the new hood vents...

Of course, a third year of the Boss would be okay with me too, but something new would be cool. :nice:

they way I understand it is the 2014 MY will come out next year in 2013 and the 50th anniversary will be released april 17th of 2014 as a 2015 model year?????? although I could be COMPLETELY wrong :)

Correct. Although it remains to be seen if the '15MY will be classed as the 50th Anniversary model, although it makes sense. What better way to celebrate than an all new Mustang.

However, we're talking '14MY here.....so the very last year for the S197 :)

I have this chronic "what's next" syndrome, which is conflicting with the permission from the wife to buy a 2013 in the summer or fall of this year...along with the internal conflict of whether I should buy a regular GT with the Track Pack and premium things with $ left over to upgrade, or a Boss...:panic:

Not the worst set of dillemas to have, I guess.

I'm not buying another until the 2020 MY pics and specs are released!!! Anyone know when that will be!!?? :grouphug: I gotta start saving now. :rofl2:

The Boss is a 2 year limited run like the GT500 is!

I know it won't happen but I'd love to see a Boss 351 or Mach I with the new 5.8L N/A. I know someone else has mentioned this before. The 351 (really 354) wouldn't make a lot more HP, maybe 450, than the 5.0L but TQ would be much higher (440 versus 380).

I would love to see this. An actual 429ci engine. Big stupid scoop. All one color with just the Boss 429 emblem. It doesn't have to make sense with the current line-up but it would be cool. Maybe black only.

Boss 429 would be epic but in reality, it'll probably be a Mach 1 or Bullitt. Also, no N/A 5.8L anytime soon, if ever. We can only dream....

How about a Boss-II with a 2.3L carbureted engine and a half-vinyl roof? ;)

I'd love to see one last Bullitt Mustang with this body style, the lights the way they are and standard leather recaros!!! In the Bullitt thread in the 10-14 section, someone wrote down the perfect Bullitt packaging and it was AWESOME!!!! :nice:

Good grief. If they came out with a Bullitt that was essentially a Highland Green Boss with some Bullitt touches, I'd be hard pressed not to try and scrape some money together and get my hands on one.
