5.8L Supercharged V8 confirmed for 2013 Shelby GT500

The 2013 Shelby GT500 will for sure be getting a supercharged 5.8-liter V8:

A little fishing line will take care of that.

Are there holes behind the Shelby letters on the trunk lid?

The Shelby name will probably ride out with the S197 platform. Wonder how all those auto news people feel now that the 5.0 TT rumors can die.

In other news, building the Fusion at AAI, glad to see that.

Wonder if we'll ever see a NA 5.8? In a new Mach 1 decked out as a straight-line bruiser, perhaps? Then again, maybe a NA 5.8 would be better suited as a Boss 351...

I still haven't heard from anyone about how credible this source is and if it is credible, there was also an article I read that the price will get to 60k MSRP
