2013/2014 BOSS 429 RUMOR
#161
Considering how far we already are into 2013 MY production, if we haven't heard about it now, it's not going to happen.

...ummm, 2014 Boss 429...?
Personally, I'd be very surprised to find any unique significant mechanical bits, including a 429 motor of some sort, unless it was something that would be going into the new 2015 Stang. Even that would be unlikely though as it would steal some of the new car's thunder.
So any swan song 2014 model would likely be a repackaging of existing Mustang bits and pieces.
My guess, if any special addition to keep the fires burning on the S197 for one more year, would be a Bullitt model comprising Boss 302 bits but in a less garish decor. The other outside possibility would be a Boss 351 or Mach I with an n.a. version of the GT500s motor.
Or even a Bullitt with a mix of Boss suspension bits and the "big block" n.a. 5.7 mill echoing the big block 390 on the original.
