Won't Start after 5 Months

Today I changed the oil in the stang before I tried to fire it up for the first time in 5 months (2011 V6). I had a battery tender on the car all winter and checked it frequently so I know it was working. Key on, everything lights up as it should. With the clutch in I tray to start the car, it won't turn over and all I get is a loud and slow repeating click almost more like a smacking sound. Its a lot slower then the fast clicking you get with a dead battery. At the same time the anti left light flashes. The weirdest part is this loud, slow click/smack sound CONTINUES even after you release the key from the crank to the run position. It only stops after you release the clutch. I don't have a clue even where to start. No MIL light either. Any ideas?

yep most deff sounds like a very weak battery. It will keep turning over until you let the clutch out because of the way the ignition is set up. You your the key and let off right away it will continue to turn over until it starts or you let the clutch out.
