windshield washer

Hi Folks,
I have a 2014 purchased in late October 2013, so the car is over a year old.
Would the windshield washer pump be under warrenty?
If not, any tips how to get to it?
I looked and can not find any place to disconnect it from the squirters and test it. I do hear something running, but nothing at all comes out.
Thanks in advance.

Well I may have answered my own question.
I googled it and found another forum, where the owner said he ran 2 gallons of regular (blue) stuff throught it, and 2 bug type stuff in it, (not sure what order) and his clogged up with out a drop.
He described how to access it (something like 8 bolts for a cover) and found the screen was clogged up. He even had a photo of some white slime covering it all.
Now mine I dont think I even managed to get all of the factory stuff out when it clogged, and then I added some of the blue stuff thinking it was dry.
I will keep you posted what I find.
Oh and I did try to used compressed air at the nozzle and still not a drop.

Hello snarlman,

You should have your vehicle fully diagnosed at your Ford Dealer and make sure you speak with your service manager if needed. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed. Let me know what happens.
