Warranty Covered Preventive Maintenance?
Warranty Covered Preventive Maintenance?
I have never owned a new car and tried looking in the owners book about when to take the car in to the dealer for tune ups. Is there anything on the 5.0L that needs to be done by the stealership on a service type interval besides oil changes. Im reading on different post ppl talking about having the car in for a 6month visit to the dealer and so on.

These maintenance items are not however covered under the warranty unless you purchased a service plan from Ford or your dealer when you purchased the car.
While most everything in the intervals can be done yourself, there's a couple as the vehicle ages that I'd let Ford do. Just make sure you document that the maintenance was carried out. It is possible grounds for denial of a warranty claim in some situations.
