Last week I noticed that rubber coating on the driver side interior door handle is coming loose and is warped. It appeared that the entire rubber part was not properly attaced/glued to the remaining door panel. Upon further investigation, I also noticed that the passenger door was beginning to have the same issue, just not as bad yet. I was really surprised, as I really take good care of both, the interior and exterior of my vehicle. With 31000 miles on it, it was time to take a trip to the dealership.

I showed my service advisor the issue, who took pictures of both door interiors. I actually was thinking that just the rubber part could be replaced, but she informed me, that they would have to order two complete door panels from Ford.

On Friday, I took my car in and both panels were replaced under warranty with no issues or questions. (I just wish they would have given me the little ponies from the door panels!) LOL

I was just curious if anyone else had the same problem?
