Just ordered my 2012 GT/CS today. I'll take my chances. In my state our lemon law says that any vehicle serviced three times for the same problem must be completely replaced, no questions asked.

Grats RunNgun. You'll love the California Special. Im waiting to hear a call back from this person at Ford and then I'll be asking for a CS myself. I'm hoping that Ford decides to comp me an upgrade or two for my troubles and waiting on my issues. Sadly the lady that was to call me last Friday still hasn't called - and I was told 48 hours last Wednesday.

Deysha, what gives? You are the epitome of customer service, and the folks behind the scenes are lacking on promises Will I be compensated?

You're right. I'm looking for what I was promised (over the phone by CSM-Jeff) Two payments and Premier ESP.

That covers the time the car was in the shop and gives me piece of mind.

I am not creating drama...nor stirring the pot. Waiting for Ford to come through on a promise. I was told I would get a call FRIDAY. Friday came and went. My posting here (this entire thread - if you read MY posts..) were to outline my experience with Ford. Do with it what you will. Hopefully it helps someone else out - or at least let's them know what they can possibly look 'forward' on what they will be dealing with.

If you were in my shoes you would have done the exact same thing. My situation is very unique (I hope) and I'm not too pleased with how I am being dealt with from Ford. It has been 60 days or so since Ive had this problem. I never had a to deal with a lemon car. I want it replaced, I was told it would be replaced. When is this going to happen?

Thank you for your observation - however live with the BS I've had to deal with these 2 months and you would revisit your opinion.

Now in a less snarky attitude, I've been a Ford Mustang owner for a long time. Never had a problem. I'm a bit miffed on the treatment that I have received - that's all.

So again, thanks for your ePinion, I heard it...and it's obvious that we disagree. That's cool...Im not here to rustle feathers, I've been a very very patient person on this process and quite frankly Im over it. Replace my car, give me my ESP and pay for the time I was out of the car...

It's funny - you originally suggested to be greedy (not in those same words..)

I had to go though this awith a old mustang of mine. It took 13 months. Working with ford and the BBB is much fast alot fo the time then lemon law. The more lawyers you can cut out the better.

To be honest it sounds like they have been treating you pretty well. which is good. I would of took a new mustang and worked with ford fro alittle extra like the esp and the new car.

they offered you two payments on the old car for the time and effort. Thats good. The offered you a esp on the old car. Thats also good.

I told you to get a lawyer to push the case forward. No to get all you can because you want to. I agree on the less the lawyers the better. But you did not seem to be getting anywhere or thats how you made it sound. A new car isnt enough??

Also my case was much harder to prove and my dealer in flagstaff did nothign to help me. So when I needed work done on my car I had to drive to phoenix(167 miles away). When I met with the BBB in my case I had to drive to south phoenix(185 miles away).

That's what I meant after all that id would want it over with.

I wouldn't sign anything until I went over it with a fine toothed comb and fully understood everything. If its full of the typical legalese which is common in stuff like that, I'd pay a lawyer to go over it before I dared sign something that is definitely going to release them from any further liability, and make sure the terms of the settlement fully meet what you are looking for.

Once that is signed, its done. Make sure you have your ducks in a row and don't overlook any fine print clauses.

Hey y2kcbr,

I looked into this for you and found that after you spoke to your CSM on Thursday and she advised you that RAV would contact you within 2 business days, their systems were down last week and they are running a little behind because of it. They should be contacting you soon. Thank for you kind words about me and your patience.

LONG process. It's going. I will update when it is all complete I've been thinking about getting an Escape Hybrid and just fixing up a '68 or something. Dunno still. As it sits, Ford is set to replace my Mustang with a '12 vert 5.0
