Swing-up seatbelt "server"
Swing-up seatbelt "server"
Not sure what the thing's called, but the thing that serves up the seatbelt and swings up or down, seems to be broken on my driver side.
I went to put it down the other day and it wasn't budging until it finally let go and now it won't click into an up position anymore.
Is there a certain procedure on releasing it that maybe I didn't follow?

I've had a failure with the same symptoms you report. It was replaced under warranty. The failure occured when I simply put it in the down position. It never stayed up after that one time.

Have your dealer check it out and let me get it escalated to the customer service manager for your area. Please, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number.

She shouldn't have to buy one, Ford should give her an S550 for all the great work she does here
Hope it's fixed soon, Gabe. Alternatively, just think of it as a retro feature. Us poor '05-'09 owners have to reach back and manually grab the seat belt ourselves

Remember my tribe, Tony Alonso. I can’t fit them in there yet. I have to wait a few more years until the first 2 move out. Lol!
Thank you for the kind words, guys!
