'08s have seatbelt extender arm

Has anyone with an '08 noticed the seatbelt extender arm connected to the B-pillar.

I was messing with an '08 GT500 we have in the showroom and tugged on the seatbelt and heard a click. Then I noticed that there was this little plastic arm holding the seatbelt out from the B-pillar. The extender arm was on both sides. You would never know it was there unless you moved the seatbelt from the B-pillar about 45deg for it to click into place. I hate having to fish for the seatbelt on the passenger side. This little arm puts it right into reach.

Looks like it will retrofit into the older cars.

I thought the little strap on the side of the seat bottom was there to hold the belt so you could grab it without reaching back?

I still liked the original magnets they used but for some reason dumped in 07 Simple and effective.

This is something our cars have needed for a while. I was trying to get a set off of a SN95 to retrofit so my wife would stop complaining about the seatbelt. We tried the normal extensions but she hated those worse.

I dont like it, it makes it harder for people to get into the back seat, and it also looks a little cluttered to me. I just think that it would get in the way.

They got rid of them. The magnet feature was in '05 only...then it became a snap, I believe.

I liked the magnet. Works like a champ for me. Dunno why they nixed that.

Yea it became a snap on the driver's side and was deleted entirely on the passenger side in 07.

it really looks like an afterthought....which it is. however, i think if the retrofit is easy enough and the price is right, i would get it.

I prefer the strap too, not so sure about these arms.

The magnetic strap works fine for me. That arm looks like it will be in the way of people getting in and out of the backseat (although who sits back there anyway?)

Ditto. My arms reach the belts just fine.

I just need something that'll keep the belt from feeling like it's cutting into my neck!
I had the seatbelt extenders but they didn't work very well.
They did move it away from my neck but then became uncomfortable on my waist.
They need something that protrudes from the top of the seat itself I think.
