Rear park assist/low fuel warning

Hey guys just wondering if this is happening to anyone else. If my low fuel warning is on and I put the car into reverse the park assist warning will light up and stay stuck on until I either press ok on the steering wheel or shut the car off. If low fuel warning is not on everything works as it should. '13 GT Manual. TIA

Can anyone confirm one way or the other if this is normal? I noticed in my buddies Edge this does not happen.

Hey MikeyNice,

There is no note of the 2 being affiliated in the Owner’s Guide. I recommend you bring your vehicle in to your Ford dealer and have them look at it. Then PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.

Mine stays on sort of randomly. Though Im often below 1/4 tank, Ive never noticed a correlation. I have noticed that if I get on it from start, it always clears, but if I baby it, sometimes not.

That's kinda weird. Mine only stays stuck on when my low fuel warning is on. I never noticed if it goes out under different driving conditions.

Lol, I think we both have a test to perform. I have a full tank right now. Will report back.

I also just filled up but will test again when my low fuel warning comes on. I really think its an issue of some sort.

I, too have the same thing happen when the low fuel alert is on . But it is just the settings information ,not the camera view. I have dismissed it as it causes me no concern.

I recommend you bring this up to your Ford dealer and have them make sure all is good with your vehicle, karrnutt. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, best daytime number, and the concern your vehicle is having so I can forward it to the customer service manager for your area.
