Iphone+sync+ pandora=FAIL

Everytime I try to access pandora on my iPhone 4s via syncs mobile apps, it always says no apps found. I have pandora running on my phone and my pandora app is up to date. My iOS is 6.1 and sync version is gen1 v4.3.1. Please help!!

1. Plug it into the USB (you have to have it plugged in or it wont work)

2. Start pandora and press play on your phone

3. Select phone-mobile apps-pandora.

I have a 4s and it works great.

I got it to work by plugging it in but I was under the impression it worked through applink and mobile apps but maybe not.

Hi, pegasus5.0 & steven46746 -

You can stream music via Bluetooth, but to utilize AppLink, iPhones must be connected via USB:

Check out our how to access mobile apps support page to get started:

Let me know if you have any questions.

Yep as mentioned above, it only works on the iphone when its plugged in via USB. Android and Windows Mobile phones can do it over bluetooth if im not mistaken.

Also, you dont have to hit Menu as someone described. Just activate Sync and say USB, then activate sync again and say Mobile Apps

I was using iHeartradio on my droid but since I've gotten the 4S I can't use it so I made the switch to Pandora. I don't like it as much but I can't figure out how to use iHeart.

There's a separate app called I heart auto that you have to download. It connected fairly easy to sync but I haven had a chance to really try it out yet. Let me know if it works for you.

That's weird that I didn't need the extra app when I had a droid. At least the app is free. My car still isn't here but I will let you know how I like it when it gets here. Thanks for the tip. This was really bugging me something fierce.

It'll play through Bluetooth, but you will have no voice control over pandora as far as changing to a new station via voice/ sync. You're limited to switching songs within the station your on or picking up your phone to change it. Not a big problem but something I noticed when I got my car this past weekend

If you just got the car a week ago and you are already listening to the radio then I think you need to upgrade your exhaust!

Delete those resonators!!! After a couple days the axleback alone isn't enough.
