Front splash gaurd

So the part that's underneath the chin...

On my right side it's starting to tear off... It's a solid 4-6 inch tear... How? I have no clue... tho typing this, maybe those parking 'stop' pavers? The part did come in contact with those 1-2 times...

But this would be replaced by warranty correct?

The pic is that of a 2011 but it's the general idea of it.

Sounds like a auto insurance comprehensive claim not a warranty claim. That part is around $150.

Thanks for the input- if that were the case I'll just eat the cost and get a new one I guess...
Next time I bring it in for an oil change, (I'm around 1-2 weeks away) I'll mention it and then see what the choices are.

I had the same issue so I just went down to the store and got some Super Glue. $1.99 and it's all fixed. You really can't see the part since it's down so low. Also It was so easily torn, if you get a new one it will only take one or two mistakes before it's broken again. That part is really low at the ends. I have a chin spoiler on my 05 and have never scraped it.

Make sure that you point the Super glue tube down or it will leak down and glue your fingers together. LOL

Nice man! That's the rightside isn't it? And that's almost the same exact path where mine split...
weird.

I actually tried to super glue it... but it just didn't take.
I asked the dealer about it and that whole piece amounted to just over $200 with labor... No thanks.

So I just cut it off. The odds of me scraping another parking paver are unfortunately bound to happen again...

I'd rather spend the $200 on installing a new rear valance.

Too bad you aren't in GA ... I'd sell you the one I just took off my car for $50 ... It takes literally 5 minutes to remove and replace ... your dealer is on crack!

I ordered all of the 2011 GT/CS front end parts for my car ... including the redesigned deflector shield (very trekkie!) .... So I just replaced my 2010 shield with the 2011 version ...

Well nicely done!

I guess the 11's help more with the aerodynamics? Eh... It may only be trivial at best.
But yea, I'm not too distressed about the part, being that unless you look for it, and be told it's cut off, you'd never know... So it's livable for me.

But, once that conversion is done be sure to post the pics.
CS front on the sunset gold oughta look sweet!
