FORD dealership abuse

I would like to share my bad experience with a dealership:
This is how a mechanic from Sawgrass Ford, Sunrise, FL. attempted to fix my car.
I had a small knock from the top of my engine, maybe carbon build up. The mechanic, instead of treating with chemicals(protocol), decided that it would be easier to run my car in first gear for 5 miles at redline. He discusses with another mechanic in the car how he would like to either fix it or blow it up. My expensive Shelby CS1 wheels were damaged along with the transmission during the time they had my car. There was rubber down the sides of my car and 80+ miles on my car from when the camera was shut off by the shop foreman.
I gave them 2 chances to repaint the wheels, until they had to replace them finally. They gave the car back to me with 3 new wheels and told me that they replaced 4, THEY LIED again. I spent much time trying for them to get my wheels balanced after that, and to top it off, now my transmission flare is considered normal to them, even though it was operating properly when I dropped it off, they refuse to fix it without an engine light code. My car is not shifting normally from 3rd to 4th gear now and sometimes loses the gear completely.
After over a month of time back and forth to the dealership, I have come to the conclusion that this will never get resolved and I am too scared and untwist worthy of this dealership to keep my car out of my site again.
I record in and out of my car at all times and my cameras are in clear site of view. The mechanics point out the camera and mention that it is possible that it is recording.
After all the issues I had with this dealership, the mechanic still has a job at this dealership servicing cars.
How I kept my cool, i do not know! My wheels have been replaced finally! They will not repair the transmission and I have the extended service plans.
What a shame!

Did you escalate this to Ford directly?

So they knew there were cameras and still did that? Definitely contact Ford, show them the video. Get a lawyer too, have them give you at least a new transmission or a new car, wouldn't settle for anything less. I would try to get the video to the media too, bring them as much bad press as possible and then they might reconsider.

Wow...just wow. What did the owner of the dealership have to say when you showed him the video. You spoke with the owner, right?

I'd already have that video in the local media. That man should've been fired on the spot, and that dealership owes you a new engine/transmission and one hell of an apology. That was blatant abuse. Plain and simple.

Refer back to the speed limit signs of where they blatantly say they are going 80+mph. Report reckless driving to police.

Notice how they try to race the car at the beginning of the video when the are near those two other mustangs? Report street racing to the police.

Refer police and dealership to malicious attempt to blow car up. Report intentional destruction of personal property and endangerment.

Have you contacted the general manager or dealer principal of the dealership?

Should post on Ford's FB page and send to jalopnik. that'll learn them, those bastards.

Cd What a great idea.

Send it and I would probably put it on YouTube if you did not get any results.

Ford and other dealers just don't care. They need to look at how Saturn a lower end company treated thee customers. They were in the top 5 all the time.

They get away with it because Ford does not do anything to them and they hide behind the Ford name and blame it on them.

The industry is getting to be a Joke.
Good Luck

Did you buy your car from that dealership? I hope this is not how they treat their customers after they buy a car.

Yes, This is were I purchased all of 18 vehicles between me and my family. Sad case. I showed them all over a month ago, and it went downhill from there. I am done returning to that dealership and heading a different direction now.
This is the short story, you wouldn't believe the long story. Its very depressing, I baby this car from day 1 off the truck. I have over 10k invested into modifications. Now she sits in the garage.
