Convertible Weather Stripping Near Quarter Windows
Is anyone else with convertibles having problems with the weather stripping coming out just above the rear quarter windows? The glue seems to be releasing and the foam stripping is coming out and often gets caught in the quarter window when putting them back up.

I have had it in already once and they were unable to find the part or what it was used for. The service manager went to a local auto parts store and purchased some similar foam that they replaced it with. It just came out again for the second time. Was your dealer able to find any information on it?

I don't know if this is the same problem you're having, but I had a similar issue with my '13 convertible about two months after purchase - I posted about it on another forum at the time.
So, here are a couple of those posts in the hope that something in them might be helpful:

...yesterday I saw that the rubber weatherstripping above the passenger side rear window has torn loose along about a two-inch length. There doesn't seem to be water leakage yet (car washing) but of course I'm calling the dealer on Monday to have it fixed.
Took it to the dealer, they took some pictures for Ford (for the engineers, they say) and will call me tomorrow about the repair.
FWIW, this is the best picture I could take of the problem with my own phone:

So, here's an update: The dealer sent the car out to a contractor who specializes in this. Turns out the torn part is a "convertible top seal retainer" rather than the seal itself; it's a new design with the 2012 and no one's sure why the design was changed. They tried to repair it, but finally said that it wasn't going to be satisfactory without replacing the entire top.
If the top is misaligned during installation, apparently a gear can catch and tear this thing.
So, the dealer called Ford and I'm getting a new top.

I recommend you bring it in to your Ford dealer as soon as possible and have it looked at. Your Service Manager is in the best position to look into this for you. He can check into any warranty, Recalls, or Customer Satisfaction Programs that may apply to your vehicle. Let me know the outcome.

My quarter window foam was replaced in july 2013, the dealer had the car for 10 days. The replacement foam looked good. the repair didnot last long. 90 degree days and the top up and down and now the foam is coming out again. I guess its back to the dealer again.
I didnot see the quarter window foam on the 2014 convertible..they must have changed the design.
