Check Engine Light (CEL) - P0172
On my 6 banger 2010 I have a check engine light on. Went to autozone and had them pull the code. Comes up engine lean/rich since it now in the limp home mode loop IE MAF, o2 sensor, fuel injector etc.
Unfortunately I have a trip planned and cannot get to the dealership to have it looked at.
Car has 48K miles on it. Can it be a simple clogged fuel filter? -it has never been changed. I have tried cleaning the MAF as I am running a K&N filter and thought I got a little crazy with the oil a few weeks back.
Appreciate your thoughts Thanks CJ

Cleaned the MAF and it was dirty as all hell again. Disconnected battery and took her out for a spin -no check engine light.
When I had the snorkel off I looked at the Throttle body, dirty as well. Going to clean that next and schedule to have my fuel filter replaced.

How often are you servicing you air filter? I used to work in a shop where we used the serviceable filters, and you have to really be careful with how much you clean and oil them (if I remember right, it was not recommended to service the filter until you could not see the wire mesh). When I would oil the filters, I would apply it to the pleat crests, and stop about 1/2 inch from the ends. I would then allow them plenty of time for the oil to evenly soak, and then touch up the spots that needed it.
