Upon my vehicle purchase I got the extended 7 year warranty think I just got caught up in the moment Not realizing everything I want to do to the car will void it ...now my question is can I cancel my warranty and receive a refund ? I have read on a few forums that people have and some people haven't ... I've had the car since late April and only have 2k miles on it (2014 GT)

Yes you can cancel it and get some of your money back. It will probably be prorated but you can get some of the money back. If you bought it from your dealer, just go talk to them.
I purchased the 7/75 ESP with my (then) new 2012 mustang at the Ford dealer. Upon trading it in two years later, I cancelled the ESP and received a pro-rated refund which took around 3 weeks. It’s my understanding that the Ford ESP cancellation request is done by the party who originally sold it to you. They will submit the paperwork, including the odometer verification document. Overall, a fast & easy process and took maybe a total of 30 minutes in person at the dealer.
Interesting. I have a signed document from the dealer and second party insurer that states if I do not use the warranty (Which so far I haven’t) I will be given the full amount back at the end of the term. I’ve considered canceling the policy as well…I wonder if they would pro-rate it under that circumstance as opposed to giving me a full refund?

Anyone else have any input on who I can contact I have emailed 3 people from the dealer including the finance manager and sales associate numerous times with NO response at all... Also have called a couple times being redirected and not given a straight answer on who can help me ... Not necessarily in a rush for this to happen but I can't get ANY response or direction on where to go or what to do... I was going to go to the dealer but its an hour drive and I want to know what I'm gettig into when I go there
Don't know how much you paid for the extended warranty. If you purchased the premium ESP plan it covers a bunch of the stuff that goes wrong on these cars. Such as the power seats that go bad and the A/C compressor. Just some of the few things I noticed that keep coming up on this site. Also if your car is in the shop longer than 1 day you get $30 towards a rental. I have used the rental deal twice since 5/14.

That's typical. They never want you to cancel. Go stand in their showroom until they do it. Get loud if you need to. LOL. BTW, most cancellations go straight to the lei holder as long as you still have the car. If you trade it, of course it comes back to you. I've been waiting 8 weeks for my refund from my trade in's warranty. Maybe it's time I go get stupid up in their showroom. LOL
The dealership knows how to cancel, it's not hard, take 10-15 minutes maximum. I've cancelled several over the years, some through external companies, some directly with the dealership I purchased at.
Since you are uninformed to the process, the dealership is using stall tactics on you to save them more money. Extended warranties and repairs are where dealerships make the majority of their money, they are usually pro-rated to the day, and you cancelling an extended warranty is like take money out of their pocket, as you've already financed the entire amount.
