2014 Track Pack - Water Slosh Sound in Dash

Hi everyone,

Last Tuesday I took delivery of my 2014 GT Premium Track Pack. All seemed well (minus the MT82 standard woes) until yesterday when I started hearing a water sloshing sound coming from within the dash. Whenever I turn, I can hear it move right to left or vice versa. From a quick search, it seems like it could be a cooling issue, maybe an air bubble in the system? Any other thoughts? Seems weird (btw I'm no mechanic) to hear water slosh in the dash because of a cooling issue.

Here she is from a little Sunday drive...

Taking her in today...we'll see what they find/say. Just curious if anyone else has seen this problem on a track pack car.

It's an air bubble in the heater core. I guarantee it.

No real problem. They just have to pressure flush the cooling system to force the air bubble out. My wife's Altima had the same problem when she bought it. It's only about a 10 minute fix.

I've had it in my '11 for as long as I can remember - didn't know the fix until now, so hopefully it really is that easy!

Thanks Deysha - PM Sent.

Got a call yesterday evening stating that they'll likely have my car through Thursday as they'll "have to start taking things apart and techs need to follow a specific step-by-step process and get on the hotline since this is a brand new car." Bummer. I did, however, also mention a ticking noise that I've been able to isolate to the transmission. It's not the normal valvetrain/injector tick but clearly audible with the driver's window down or the door open. Doesn't sound like an exhaust leak.

Well, I just got a call back stating they're having the glass company come out and re-seal the windshield, they'll run some more tests, and then get back to me. Not sure if they had to remove it to access the heater core? Does this sound right?

Whatever happened regarding this. I finally decided to take my car into work since weather was supposed to be nice and noticed for the first minute or so, every turn there was a sloshing or gurgling sound behind the dash which seemed to be right in front of me. Never heard this before. Plus am still having the squeal when i first start it up. Only lasts a few seconds. Dang, just broke 200 miles and already have 2 more issues than I ever had on my 12 in over 2 years!!!!!

Don't want to take it in this soon as I have not gotten to drive it much yet, so I am hoping these are just irritating issues and I can drive it for a bit before I have to leave it there. I always dread leaving the car overnight.....
