mileage seems low for the bearings to be worn out; but the rubber can deteriorate with age regardless of mileage so I guess it is possible

if you want the smoothest possible operation, with forgiveness of pinion angle and suspension lowering, go with the OEM driveshaft; if you can tolerate some vibration and potential need to adjust pinion angle with adjustable upper control arm, and want the best performance, go with the one-piece aluminum DS
