2011 GT Clutch issues

Good day,
First time poster so bare with me please.

Just got my 2011 GT about two weeks ago and with only 525 miles on it i am experiencing what seems like a clutch issue. It seems in my case that when i shift 1st to 2nd, even though the clutch is to the floor i feel a grind and 2nd to 3rd does the same as if the clutch wasn't fully pressed. Anyone else having this issue? It's gonna be like a week or two before i can get it for service...hope it holds out.

Get it to the dealer. If it only occurs on that gear change, it's prolly bad syncs or too high fluid level.

Are you forcing it through the skip shift? I believe it was said that there is some minor grinding sounds when you force the shift.

Do a search on this. There was another thread about shifting problems. I will see if I can locate it.

I guess i'll play it by ear for a few weeks. Im not a big fan of the skip shift and no matter what i do in terms of RPMs and Speed, i never see the 1->4 indicator in the info display.

Thanks for all the info

I bought my beautiful '11 SG GT less than a month ago. The first weekend I had it I was having grinding shifting from 4th-5th. It had 426 miles on it!! I honestly thought it was driver error the first 2 times getting used to a new clutch. I took it back in and Ford had to replace the entire transmission. It took over 2 weeks to get back as the transmission was ordered on a Monday and shipped the following Wednesday. Needless to say I was not happy.

Hey, that's not bad considering it had to come all the way from China!
