Do it. 70%, then 50 or 35 on the rest. My old boss had an S5 with the glass roof, 70% on the windshield and 50% on all the other windows. It was perfect. I just need to get around to doing it. It helps the color blend in on all the other windows and makes your side tint less noticeable (if it's illegal to have front side tint in your state - in CA, it's illegal, so the windshield makes the transition less noticeable - all the windows look the same, just smoked).

Nay: it is illegal in most states and dangerous for you and others. (Visibility)

Illegal or not, it makes a huge difference and cops are generally too slow to realize it is tinted unless you go dark. 80% even makes a huge difference.

Yea cops don't care about the windshield as much as they care about driver/passenger windows. Hell they don't care about those unless you're doing something stupid. I can walk through the parking lot at work and find a few dozen cars with a tinted windshield. It's more common than you think. I love it

Amen, brother! I used to rely on being able to see the driver of a car that is about to pull out onto the road on which I am driving so I could tell if he was looking both ways or clueless. With tinted front windows and windshields I have to assume they are all about to do something really stupid. Not good.

You're Not Correct With Your Statement! I Bought My Mustang With A Tinted Windshield And It's Nowhere Near Dark Enough In The Dark To Run Anyone Over At Night Unless You're Either Drunk Texting And Driving Or Just Not Paying Attention! I Love My Tinted Windshield So Much I'm Going To Get The Windshield In My 2005 Dodge Ram Tinted! It Might Be Illegal In The State Of Washington But Who Cares I'm An Outlaw From Montana And I'll Do Anything I Want To My Vehicle And If The Cops Don't Like It Tough Write Me A Ticket! I've Got A Great Attorney On Retainer Just For Those Situations!

^ very interesting capitalization; where did you learn that? isn't that as annoying to type as it is to read?

even though this is a 6-year-old tread, I still say "nay" if you are driving the car at night
