Stone Leather vs. Cloth .. Swap pictures.
I'm on my Third S197 Mustang and I have never had a Cloth interior - always Leather. I noticed many times when I commute to work (I wear dockers and dress shirt) my back gets sweaty on the Leather. I also have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler with Cloth Interior and the interior in that just seems so much more comfortable ...
Thanks to a great deal on some perfect Stone Cloth (thanks Creighton) I started the swap. Did the back seat yesterday. Did the Passenger seat today. I am waiting on a set of non-adjustable headrests to be delivered tomorrow since the Stone Fabric I got is from a 2011.
It is hard to see in pictures but in person the Stone Cloth is noticeably GRAY compared to the Stone Leather which is basically white. I was worried it wouldn't match my door panels very well .. but I think it will be OK.
My son has sat in the back and Passenger side and he already says the Cloth feels so much better.
I'll finish up the Driver and headrests tomorrow so I can see for myself.
I also expect the Heated Seats to be much toastier in the winter under the cloth than under the Leather.

Looks awesome. I cat wait until you get the headrests and its all finished. It's going to look great. Good job on the instal too.
Your right about the leather on a hot day. If I wear a t-shirt or shorts. I have to be careful not to get burned in the back or legs. I can't believe how hot black leather seats can be...or leather in general.

All done ..
I even like the shape of the non-adjustable headrests better .. more sporty looking.
Drove home today from work ... 85 degrees, windows down, no sweaty back.

I find the non adjustable head rests uncomfortable on a long ride.

If they made Saddle cloth, that would be my perfect car! I am a cloth fan as well. I've never owned a car with leather, and while it does look nice, I get the sweaty back too. I only weigh 165 lbs, so it's not like I'm a tubby - the leather just holds the heat more.
